THE 3 MOST IMPORTANT SELLING TOOLS GUIDE

When listing your item for sale on Ebay , no matter if you list it in your store or as an auction ,
you want to get the best price and most page hits (visitors) possible.
There are 3 selling tools that are the most important tools to use in a listing.
They are not fancy listing tools or anything you will have to add to your listing.
The 3 most important tools are THE AUCTION TITLE , DESCRIPTION AND PICTURES !

THE AUCTION TITLE should contain all the KEYWORDS a potential buyer may use to search for an item they are looking for and to find your listing through the Ebay search results.
If you do not use the right keywords in the title , your potential buyer will often not be shown your listing when searching for an item on Ebay.
It does not make any sense to use words like WOW , LOOK , AWESOME , AMAZING , STUNNING etc. in the title and to waste the number of letters you have available for the title (55).
Let`s say YOU would like to buy a pair of New Levi`s 501 jeans in blue , men`s size 34x32 on Ebay ,
Would you search for a STUNNING PAIR OF JEANS WITH BUTTON FLY - LOOK ?
Probably not !
Get those keywords right and you will get more hits , page views and HIGHER BIDS !!

THE DISCRIPTION should do just that , describe your item for sale in detail.
Point out the advantages of the item , if it is new or used and any flaws it may have even if you don`t think they are important.
Keep in mind that a potential buyer may also do a search in TITLE & DESCRIPTION !
Make sure you are using the KEYWORDS that describe your item best in both , TITLE and DESCRIPTION !
Avoid telling your buyer a long story about why YOU think this is the item THEY should bid on and get to the point.
Your buyers want to know what they are bidding on and not that you got it from a store that is 25 miles away from your house and you had to fill up your gas tank before you could get to the store while it was raining  and you had your car washed just the day before that...... LOL
I have seen many descriptions being written that way !

PICTURES are , in my opinion , the MOST important selling tool you have available!
Pictures DO say more than 1000 words !
Take clear pictures in bright light and close-ups of areas you want to focus on.
Crop your pictures and don`t show your buyers your backyard or kitchen!
You can crop your pictures using the editing tool provided by Ebay when you insert the picture or you can download picture editing software for free from different software providers.
Kodak let`s you download the Easy Share software for free an it does a pretty neat job with some really nice features.
Or you can do a Google search on free image editing software and find another one.
Spend a couple of dollars on a good digital camera rather than taking the pictures for your auction with your cellphone. It`s worth it and you will get your money back in no time through the higher bids you will be getting.

Here is a very good example of how an auction ad should NOT be written.
The auction was for a really nice , new without tags leather jacket (not a coat) - ( BIN - $20 , came unsold)

This was the auction title :
NNT Awesome partiotic coat 22/24

And THIS is the entire description :
I can only accept Paypal!Payment must be received within 3 days of auction close!
Bust 48 and lenght 27.

No surprise it didn`t sell !
