E-bay has become a very difficult place to actually get what you want - in my opinion. If you have done your research & go for the "buy it now" option, you may actually get what you want, at a good price, if you have done your research. I ordered some outdoor furniture before Thanksgiving, and I am still waiting (it's March 14th). So, is that a good deal? To me, yes. I have had worse experiences from companies that are on-line & just flat out lied to me.
This girl obviously has not imported a container before & has no clue how to make it happen, but luckily I have some furniture to get me through & I am patient. In the long run, it will be worth the money I saved - but a lot of people would be freaking out right now. I actually feel kind of bad for her b/c I know the reason I haven't been sent a tracking # is b/c she is trying to figure everything out & get organized & it's not as easy as she thouht. OOPS. So, am I a dumby? NO - I am someone who will pay 1/2 the regular retail price & be patient & eventually get what I want. I'm OK with that, but a lot of people wouldn't be. This chick has obviously not done this before, but that''s to my benefit b/c I believe she will take care of me.
Bottom line - don't be afraid to buy on E-bay b/c I believe most people are honest & want you to be happy - but you may have to be very understanding :)
