When you choose shoes on online, its really easy to fail because of sizes.

there are different size charts in each countries, US, EURO(ITALY), FRANCE,UK,AU The size chart of those countries is important.

specially Keep in mind US and EURO size chart.

most factories produce shoes with US sizes and Euro(italy) size, France has different size chart actually but mostly shoes produced in FR

follow EURO sizes in my experiences.

and there is A,B,C... those means a width of feet, A is nallow(slim)  B is nomal(medium), C is more wider than B

For Example, I wear 35C chanel. because I have 35size and wide feet.  if there is no A,B,C... The width of the shoes is generally B

Generally, choosing true size is good for you except some special cases.

- Sandle : choose half size smaller or your true size.

- Boots: choose half size bigger (choosing half size bigger is much comfortable than true size)

- Toe Open : choose half smaller or your true size. (chose half size bigger if  it warp all of the feet with leathers except toe ex/ margiela style, )

- Strap Shose: you can choose true size to half size bigger (including mary jane style)

but first ask seller if the shoes which he/she is selling run small or big. and  measure your feet ,  shoes have to be bigger about 1.5~2 cm  than your feet , in sandals, the shoes have to be  bigger about  0.5~1cm  than your feet

also, I ve seen so many shoes from china, chinese factories follow EURO size. some seller indicate US5~US10 =36~41(FR SIZE)  but mostly chinese shoes are US5~11=EURO35~41 Whatever they says. When you buy shoes from china you need to refer to US size&EURO size both of those.

Q: I am about 37.5 but there is no half size.

A: its depend on what type of shoes that is, sandals, open toe, stilleto, boots...if there is no half size, you need to think if you have wide feet, if the leaher is thick, what type of shoes that is. most imeportant thing is if you have wide feet.

if you have wide feet or nomal feet, choose half size bigger, if you have slim feet, half size smaller is good for you.

if thats open toe(includind sandals), and if you have slim to narmal feet, choose half size smaller. people think it might be got hurt, but its better than being taken off your shoes when you walk in street and also choosing big size could hurt your feet than choosing small size in this case. but there is spacial case too in choosing sandals. if the length of heel is more than 4inches and no platform, choose half size bigger.

I have a bad experience about shoes. I had to visit London for work. at the time, suddenly I was invited a party  but the party was no in my plan actually so before I left for london, I didnt bring dress shoes. so I had to get new shoes, I bought open toe shoes. my Uk size is about 2.5 but unfortunately there is no uk 2.5 so I got uk 3. the shoes fit my feet at the shoes store because my feet was naked. but when I wore it with stocking in the party, it was took off so many times. I was so ashamed. dont forget to attach some pads inside of heels when you wear heels with stockings

its so comlicate huh?
