We all like to sell as much as we can and as fast as we can possibly handle in the least amount of time and for profit, but selling is only half the battle. You do not want to list items that look good, but are not needed or not interesting enough to buy for your own self. Take the time to research items on ebay by name or product type to see how they are selling and what are the times of the month, seasons, or even what locations as in which states are more of a hot item. Check out their retail prices by using simple and free research engines such as google, yahoo, or msn in order to get a good perspective on the average listing price and possible profit, but don't forget to calculate the shipping charges. Always remember that what you spend on listing an item and shipping it should be less as much as possible in order to gain profit from the sale without going overboard and damaging your reputation online. Stay honest and frank with all your customers and if you can, try not to make profit or high profits on every sale as I have basically given merchandise away because having respect and admiration online from returning customers will feed to others to join and if you can give a dollar today, you will collect a hundred another day. Remember that profit gain and wealth these days using online auctions and stores will all prosper and evolve only with honest business trades and equal respect to others.
