product - finding something to sell!

My most favorite place and profitable is Flea Markets called "pulgueros" , antique shops and goodwill outlets.I usually hit these locations twice a week my most favorite time being saturdays. Sometimes there are other people looking for the same thing. I try to buy a variety of items for example. Watch out for books that are on the bestsellers list, the market is usually flooded with them and your lucky if you get 75 cents plus postage. I think Ive made out better  sticking with older popular books that are approximately from 5-10 years old. Buyers look for books that have information on stocks( 2-5 years old), computer programming( newer), budgeting, travel, cookbooks, lo-fat, south beach diet is very hot now.

These following items ive found very popular:

Name brand mens shirts ( Izod, polo, ralph lauren) all sizes

Kids Books like Disney

Not so popular hard back books becasue they command a higher price

CD's music and self help

DVD's that won awards in the past- watch out for new DVD's( lots of competition) and people dont sell them cheap either. hard to make a profit margin after packing and listing.

Pottery etc..

dont buy to much of one type of item if you are unsure. I usually get a couple of one item and try it out for bid.Wtih Books music and cds Half .com works just fine for me because there is no charge till I sell something. I hope this brief was very heplful. Please feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions.
