Ping Karsten RITE IN Putter Phoenix, AZ 85020

The Karsten Ping RITE IN putter with Phoenix, AZ 85020 zip code is a
very unusual looking putter with a flanged head like the IIIA and IVA
and wide slot behind the face which provides added feel and a nice crisp
sound when striking the ball.  The head is a pretty much identical
casting to one of the first model putters that were assembled in
Karsten’s Redwood City garage, the A5 and B5 Redwood City putters
from the late 1950s.  The manganese bronze head was cast in the late
1960s or early 1970s after Ping moved from Scottsdale to Phoenix, AZ.
The stepped shaft is curved with a little offset.
