Well ahead of it's time, offbeat and great graphics. Originally released on NES. But came back improved for N64. This is one of gamedom's overlooked gems. The hero must transverse dangerous out lands and climb to the monstrous castle to battle Dracula. Great background music enhances the suspense. The general theme of energy and strength loss are present. And, battle gear is picked up along the way. The most innovative part is that the hero uses a whip and axes to battle skeletons and vampires. His trip through the vampire's Villa is exceptionally well done. The final battle with Dracula is very clever. Also try "Castlevania 3" if you can find it.
Easy-to-learn-game is great for everybody, even though it's rated teen.
