Currently this user on Ebay named Nibbizinc is selling this coin:
I purchased this coin some number of weeks ago as he advertised it as an AU55 1893s Morgan Silver dollar. I paid 4801.00 for this coin. I had it graded by PCGS. Here is the PCGS link:
26312749 (You'll have to go to pcgs dot com and do a cert verification lookup as Ebay won't let me post the link but here is the number that you need!)
I called PCGS to verify the grade of this coin. They indicated it would grade as an F12 to F15 maximum, if it were even gradeable. However, it was not gradeable due to cosmetic tooling (their words). They indicated that the prior owner had attempted to make the coin look better by tooling details to try and give it a higher value. PCGS indicated that there was so much tooling and so much movement of the original metal, that they would not even consider giving it a numeric grade.
I obviously sent it back! Now this guy is reselling this piece of trash coin as an AU+ . I sent this coin back to him in the PCGS secure holder that I had received from PCGS with copies of the original documentation so he would know exactly what he was selling. He promptly cut it out of the PCGS certified genuine holder and put it in a cheap paper holder that you can see and wrote on it AU+ King of the Morgans.. etc.. to try and cheat the next guy in line.. hopefully that guy is smart enough to get it graded.. again. .and shove it right up Mr. Kash's Extremely Fast Coin Shop. This coin is a scam.. if you buy it as an AU+, then you are getting cheated by a scam artist! he took it out of a PCGS secure holder that cost me $125 to have it graded professionally.. he's trying to hide what it really is!
Buyer Beware. Look closely at the PCGS coin number I've provided.. look at the mark on the cheek.. see.. it's identical to the coin he's selling.. yup.. he's brightened up the pics too to make it look better.. the PCGS pictures are accurate! It's a pile of junk!
Don't let this guy cheat you, like he tried to cheat me!
