Some eBay sellers with 100% feedback are scamming users on high priced items. Everyone knows about the 1 Cent feedback manipulation scam so they are using this new technique.
Here is how they work.
1: Sellers sell first few items (20 to 40) at the price of $5 to $8. They deliver the products in time to get a positive feedback.
2: Then they list high priced items in “BULK” such as brand new ”Xbox 360“ lower then market price with “Buy Now” option or as “Auction”
3: Buyers buy the items as they are getting it for less then market price
4: Buyers never receive an item or reply from the seller
5: eBay shows “Seller is not a registered member anymore”
How to save yourself from these type of scams:
1: Don’t buy the item just by looking at the 100% feedback.
2: Check the feedback thoroughly and make sure seller have sold high priced items before and received a positive feedback on the same.
3: Contact seller before buying an item and ask general questions about the item. Wait for their reply.
4: If you have any doubt, just don’t buy the item.
I have been ripped off for $320 with 10 other buyers and seller used the same technique mentioned above.
I hope this will save you from the hassles.
