Since providing the previous guide covering the fake pint-sized Speas U-Sav-It jars, more fake Speas jars have come to light, this time in half gallon size. This is especially noteworthy, since the half gallon size is one of the rarest of the original Speas USAVIT jars. But, like the fake pints, the fake half gallon jars display features which make them fairly easy to identify. The simplest way to discern the fakes from the originals is to take a quick glance at the lettering arrangement on the base.
