McAfee Internet Security 2009 is a great software to have. I personally used most antivirus and internet security software of every kind from Norton to Kaspersky. This software in my opinion is the best of the 3. Kaspersky is great in that it provide you with unbelieveable level of protection and update istelf every hour, the downside is the price you pay for that protection is it drain the major part out of your computer. Unless you have a super computer with unlimited RAM, I don't recommend this software. On the other hand, Norton is way too simple. It takes care of itself and protection level is adequate, but nothing really special like Kaspersky. Thus, McAfee come in and state that it provide the best of both world. Something simple yet give its users a range of security without compromising any of your RAM and doesn't require your attention every 10 seconds. Other products come close like AVG, Panda, PC-Cillin, BitDefender, and more.

Overall: McAfee provide users with advance yet simple options, easy to use with its set it and leave it methodology, the price is very competitive compared to other products (Kaspersky $70.00, Norton $60.00, Panda $50, PC-Cillin $50, McAfee $50.00), provide up to 3 users, and user friendly with technical support avaiable 24/7. Conclusion: excellent software overall.

Final Recommendation:
Most retail stores charge taxes ($3.50) and shipping cost ($6.50) for this software. If you can get it with no taxes and free S&H, then it is worth it and save an extra $10 off.
