Guides on eBay can be VERY Helpful. You're obviously reading one now. But it used to be that Guides were of even MORE help. I'm trying to petition to have eBay make changes to once again make Guides of greater use to Buyers and Sellers.
Years ago, eBay Guides were part of the search process. Some of you may remember this. You type in a search phrase, and not only did eBay call up items for sale, but on the left-hand side (where other information is now shown), they listed the top four or five Guides that pertained to that phrase.
For those of us who sought to educate others about the products we sold - preventing fraud and counterfeiting, informing, etc. - this was a great mechanism. But a few years ago, eBay suddenly removed this feature.
Although eBay has several pieces of info on the left side of the screen during searches, there would still be room beneath that to restore the Guides feature.
I'm asking people to petition eBay to restore the Guides feature to the left side of their screens. This can be done by sending an email to Customer Support, or calling Customer Support to give them feedback. eBay DOES listen, and although it's a huge "ship," it can be turned if enough people respond.
