As the years roll on since CASIO Japan released it's first G-Shock, Japanese G-Shock's are becoming rarer and rarer.
Gone are the days when we purchased watches, and other electronic gadgets, knowing and having peace of mind that they were coming out of a factory in Japan manufactured with the highest qualtiy.
A few models are set aside each year to be manufactured in Japan at their factory, but these are limited for sale in Japan only.
The Asian, European, and US markets are receving Casio G-Shock's which are coming out of watch factories in Thailand and China.
These are watch factories, and watches, not only Casio but many other brands and no names, are manufactured to the bueyrs specifications.
Unfortunately, the quality is not as good as it used to be, but this is the world we live in today where "cheaper is better" in our never ending disposable society's.
