So what's the nice thing about Apple launch events? They never disappoint. After consistently rolling out the highest quality products, one after another, I don't see anything slowing down their momentum.
Let's get into the nitty gritty of the iPhone 5 parts! We at FixMyCell, and our sister company iRepairParts.com have been able to get our hands on a newly leaked iPhone 5 Screen, a nano SIM tray, and an iPhone 5 Back Cover. Of course Apple will refuse to confirm or deny that the parts are OEM iPhone 5 parts, but if I were them, I would be angry too if parts from a multi-billion dollar company were leaked. The fact of the matter is: iPhone 5 parts are out there, and we know the manufacturers who produce and assemble them ;)
What To Expect With The Display:
From our sources, and based on the iPhone 5 leaked parts we've come across, the iPhone 5 display screen will be increasing is screen size to 4 inches. This increase in size will only affect the height of the iPhone 5 display, and not the width. What's the meaning of this? The new iPhone 5 Retina Display will be JAM PACKED with pixels! The display on iPhone 4 revolutionized the entire mobile phone industry, and set a new standard for Apple's competitors. After getting our hands on the iPhone 5 Display Screen, we are 199.87% positive that Apple will widen gap with it's competitors when it comes to their display resolution and vibrancy. Using the Beta version of iOS 6, here at iRepairParts.com, we were able to stretch the screen to fit a 640x1146 resolution version to fit a whole other row of apps perfectly! Although the iPhone 5 screen will be larger than that of its predecessors, it will be shaving off some millimeters in the overall thickness of the display. This possibly points to the arrival of a much thinner iPhone 5 than we all expected. The iPhone 5 Display is also likely to come with a ground-breaking technology called "in-cell" display sensors which place touch sensors directly into the LCD; eliminating the need for a touch digitizer, as seen in all previous generations of iPhones. iRepairParts.com and FixMyCell have also learned that Apple has contracted three major display companies in producing the LCD displays. These companies are LG, Sharp, and Japan Displays.
iPhone 5 Thickness... Or lack thereof!!!
We have heard from several inside sources, that Apple will be creating the THINNEST mobile phone ever (US), with the creation of their latest iPhone... The iPhone 5. With the infuse 4G coming in at 8.99mm, the iPhone 5 is rumored to be 20% thinner than the iPhone 4S, and come in at 7.66mm!!! iRepairParts.com 's un-named source says that he had measured an iPhone 5 prototype used by a third-party case maker to create the iPhone 5 compatible cases.
Is Apple Keeping The All Glass Back Cover?
From what we have gathered from all of our insiders, and after examining every leaked part, we are almost positive that the iPhone will not lose all of the glass on the back cover. The iPhone 5 Back Cover is likely to be made from a highly resilient material called "Liquid Metal," which we have heard will be produced by Liquid Metal Technologies. If you are familiar with the iPhone 4 back cover, and the iPhone 4S back cover, you know that the back cover is a separate piece from the actual mid-frame. From what we have seen, this back cover will also double as a mid-frame, and it will virtually all be one piece. This again, will be hinting towards an even thinner iPhone 5.
