The iPhone 5 Back Cover is likely to be made from a highly resilient material called "Liquid Metal," which we have heard will be produced by Liquid Metal Technologies. If you are familiar with the iPhone 4 back cover, and the iPhone 4S back cover, you know that the back cover is a separate piece from the actual mid-frame. From what we have seen, this back cover will also double as a mid-frame, and it will virtually all be one piece. This again, will be hinting towards an even thinner iPhone 5.
