Internet fraud on ebay

There appears to be no security follow up with ebay.I have spent 3 days trying to report to ebay an internet fraud through ebay. The reporting process just sends you around in circles and the report obviously never gets through. Surely Ebay must take some responsibility for the internet fraud created through their website!
