DO NOT BUY INAUGURATION TICKETS
Inauguration tickets for swearing-in ceremonies can only be distributed by government officials who have the right to select recipients and issue tickets.
The only people who have the right to issue free tickets to the public are US House Representatives, US Senators, Governors and other local officials serving in public offices. Period.
Every other distributor is a scammer. Anyone who charges a fee for a public office swearing in ceremony is engaging in illegal activity.
Tickets are intended to be free to those people selected by public office holders, from the lists of the public who ask for them.
For reasons of terrorist interest, it is quite unwise to sell tickets that you might be given. The safety of all viewers of such government ceremonies is of utmost importance.
The Chair of the inauguration committees have striven to make it illegal, before the tickets are distributed, for anyone to sell them. With our cooperation they will likely succeed and tickets will remain free of cost.
No one who is not currently serving as a public official has guaranteed tickets to any inauguration.
