Hi! I had my computer set to ws radio... the place
that I listen to eBay Radio & Griff.
I came back to the end of a health show that was on & heard a neurologist
say a few beautiful words in closing that I am sharing with you...
'IGNORANCE is the root of all evil. There is One God & We are all His
Children. We are all human beings, no matter what religion. There
are different paths to the top of the mountain.'
I am a free spirit. My thumb ring says, 'Unity in Diversity,' a slogan
& ring from the House of Blues. My
only complaint about religion is that there are so many different ones that I feel it ‘divides us
more than it unites us’. I wish we would all accept that no one is better
than another because of our personal beliefs, culture, or religion. My philosophy in life is that everything has its plusses & minuses...it is all about how all these +'s and -'s average out!
So, I got on m-w.com & looked up the definition:
ig.no.rance
Pronunciation: 'ig-n(&-)r&n(t)s
Function: noun
:the state or fact of being ignorant: lack of knowledge, education, or
awareness
& wikipidea:
Ignorance 1) is a lack of knowledge. Ignorance is also a 'state
of being ignorant' or unaware/uninformed....Ignorance can also be more than a
lack of knowledge. It can include a deliberate intent to ignore knowledge
or facts that conflict with what someone believes or wants to be true.
They say 'Ignorance is Bliss'. I say 'Ignorance is NOT Bliss.' So...please think about
what ignorance means to you & how it affects your / our world. Let us
learn to accept each other for our differences & know that everybody has
them...including you & I. Everybody has a story ... take the time to listen to theirs and not just yours. If today you have to stop your urges to say or do
something that is mean or will hurt someone...then think & stop yourself from doing so. We all live together on this earth...so,
please do something nice for somebody & start the 'ball rolling.' You will feel better & so will they. Because of you, they will do something nice for someone else & who knows...that someone else could be you. I believe in Karma! You get out of this world what you put into it.
A very simple example, on my way home from eBay University, I took the Metro. On one train I gave a mom & her 2 kids coin holders that I make. On the next train, a really cute old man gave me a rose. I was so happy, I told him it was the most special rose I had ever been given. I then turned to the girl next to me and said...Isn't that funny. I gave somebody something & then somebody gave me something...Is that karma?
Make it a great day!
Peace, PaCRat!
