HTC T-MOBILE HD2 HD 2 LEO BUYER GUIDE

This is a simple buying guide for one of the best selling phones this year, the HTC HD 2.

There are two versions of this phone being sold right now in the US.
1) T-Mobile Branded HTC HD2 aka US Version
2) Unlocked/No Locks HTC HD2 aka European Version

The European Version is actually more expensive than the one being sold in T-Mobile stores. Unfortunately for those who bought this version, you do not have access to any US 3G network. The European versions do not have the bands necessary to work with 3G.

The ones that are sold in corporate T-Mobile stores are the US versions and they are compatible with T-Mobile's 3G network.

Here is the deal. Considering that this phone is super HOT right now, the European version is far more accessible than the US one.
But beware, T-Mobile Authorized Dealers may try to sell you the European version stating that it is better or giving you some other sales pitch. They will also try to sell it to you for a more expensive price than the US Version.

The current price for the US Version is $450.00 as listed on the T-Mobile website but Euro HD2s go for about $500.00 + in T-Mobile stores.

No sense in paying more for an inferior product.
