When we started planning our son and his fiancee's wedding they wanted a fairytale theme. The price for a ready-made Cinderella carriage was $65. We had to make several so we decided to make them on or own to save money. We used #9 wire, cutting the wire in the desired lengths that we needed and soldered the different lengths together with a soldering gun to make the carriage. Next, we spray painted the carriage frame with silver paint. We bought styrofoam pumpkins and spray painted them white and then took a small paint brush and designed a logo on both sides of the pumpkin with silver paint. Ivy leaves were hot glued on the top of the pumpkin by the stem. We put flowers and ivy leaves on the carriage using green craft wire and hot glue. Finally, we set the decorated pumpkin in the finished carriage and it was just beautiful!
