Skis and snowboards:
skis are snowboards are like finger nails if you file the rough sport and regularly apply a coat of <polish> they will perform better a lot better!!!.
If you like your skis and wish they turn in few years like they to it today you need to keep bases lubricated.Edges tuned and detuned properly.big major job I would keave to ski shop.but you can do a lot of basic little things.now they have waxed that apply easy in spray. wipes etc fast easy anybody can do it! use it!
at the end of winter-coat the bases with thick blanket of wax.then store skis base to base but with paperw newspaper between them.
snowboards need edge and base care during the winter. general guide is hot wax every 5-7 riding days. with rub on between hot waxes.
