How To Determine Your Karting Suit Size
This guide will help you size yourself, or another for the proper size suit, specificaly this article will talk about suits from K1Racegear (ebay member k1speed). This guide should help to answer your questions about fitment, and which size should work for you.
First off, you will need to take some measurements of yourself. This can be accomplished with a peice of string and a measuring tape. The areas you will need to measure are:
1.) Your Waist. Righ around your pelvice, or just a tad above (almost like a dress up suit but just a tad lower by an inch or so seems to work best).
2.) Height. The measurement for height should be taken from your foot, to the tallest part of your shoulder. Not from the ground to the tip of your head.
3.) Chest. Measure underneathe your armpits all the way around the circumference of your chest.
Next look up your stats on the chart:
We generaly say buy a suit that will be a tad bigger then your listed stats. This will help you to be more comfortable throughout the shoulders, and legs, especially if it is for someone whos growin. Also note that when listed as an XX-Small that would be adult XX-Small, that suit will not fit a 5 yr old who is under 4 feet tall. If you need a smaller suit, inquire with them as they do have certain smaller sizes then 34 in stock usually.
