How to Clean Copper Blessed Sri Yantra & Brass Statue

Namaste,

One of the most common questions I receive is "How do I clean my blessed copper Yantra ?" and "Will copper yantra tarnish after some time ?" should i clean yantra with brasso or other ready made metal cleaners or shall i use tarnished yantra like that..?

Yantra we distribute are copper and all yantras are blessed yantras, will tarnish over time as it reacts with the air and it will get tarnish. This yantras are not cover with any glass or wax finish or lacquer. It says that any blessed yantra require to react with air no object or obstacle should come in between, also while blessing this yantras our priest sprinkle water on it and blessed yantras with frequent hand touch.

if i were you, i prefer to use tarnished yantra for some time because our yantras are blessed yantra and i will not prefer to clean it with any chemicals, if require i will clean it with lemon juice or lemon juice with salt. it is natural way to clean it no artificial chemicals.

If possible, please wait for sometime to settle  holy cosmic effects of yantras, later say after five to six months you may clean it with lime juice or if it is really tarnished than add some salt apply this pest or juice all over yantra and leave it for five to ten minutes and just wipe it off with wet cloth followed with dry cotton cloth, some time you may need to rub cloth little hard to take out tarnish effect and to maintain glowing effects of yantra you may clean it with dry cloth, just to take off dust and particles from copper yantras.

It is very important to have blessed yantra it amulets holy cosmic effects i will not look at cosmetic look but i will go for cosmic effects and its benefits.

Cleaning and maintain our blessed copper yantras:

Regular maintenance of yantra: To maintain glowing effects of yantra you may clean it with dry cloth just to take off dust and particles from yantras. if require i will use little wet cloth and later i will use dry cloth to rub and clean.

Lime & salt: Cut green lime in two pieces, Dip half a lime into salt and rub across the copper, wipe carefully with wet paper do not leave any juice or salt on it if possible rinse and clean it with dry cotton cloth.

Lime & salt paste: Make a paste of lime juice and salt, rub into the copper with a cloth, wipe carefully with wet paper do not leave any juice or salt on it if possible rinse and clean it with dry cotton cloth.

Same method we use it to clean spiritual holy items like brass statue and other copper brass accessories.
