Buying cell phones on eBay can be a blessing or a curse. make sure the listing states the carrier and the network . Some phones look the same but you can't take a Verizon Wireless cell phone and use it with T-Mobile. They work off two different networks. sometimes the carrier can have different networks in different areas and in different states,so the phone will only work in areas that are using the right network.
always call your provider and ask what network is used in that area.
if the listing doesn't have it ,make sure you contact the seller and ask.
Have your eye on multiple listings of the phone you want. There's no need to pay an astronomical amount for a cell phone when another seller may have the same phone ending an hour later.
Finally Confirm the eBay sellers return policy. Yes, you may have contacted AT&T or T-Mobile to see if you can use the phone.
