How do K2Motor determine the shipping cost for buyers

How do K2Motor determine the shipping cost/rate for buyer?

There are many factors that affect the overall shipping cost for an item. We hope this guide can help you understand how we calculate shipping cost’s for a specific items. Weight and size of the package are the main factor in determining the rate of our shipping cost.

Oversized Package:

Oversized package are determined by its size, and it is calculated by its Length x Width x Height. It is then divided by 194.

LxWxH divided by 194

Because the item is oversized, packages will cost more based on its dimensional weight instead of its actual weigh. Items we offer that often have oversized packaging are full exhaust systems, spoilers, racing car seats, and car hoods.

As you can see in our diagram that product you bought weights 10lbs, however as you can see the dimensional weight of this item will be 25”x 30”x25” / 194 = 96lbs.

At this point the shipping carrier (K2Motor uses USPS or UPS) will consider the larger of the two weights, Many times K2Motor’s customer service team receives email or feedback due to shipping concerns.

We really hoped our guide was informative! Our customer service team has fielded so many shipping question, we felt that we should not only explain how our shipping is calculated but also explain how our shipping agencies ultimately determines the shipping rates we use.

If you have any K2Motor shipping related question or inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team for assistance. With a knowledgeable staff we promise to do our best to answer your question.

Thank you
