Hermes - 2010 FAKES - Fairytales...

Quick alert to let you know that the new Hermes 2010 design "FAIRYTALES" is being faked.  Hermes seem to have underestimated the demand for this particular design and the fakers have jumped right in to fill the supply gap.  So be VERY CAUTIOUS about buying this design via Ebay.

Hard to tell from full scarf photos but close-ups of the fakes show very sketchy detail when compared to the real design.

Look at Babar the Elephant. He should be wearing a nice plaid suit with bold, light outlined squares.  The fake has blobs at the intersections of these lines making it look more like  a spotted material.

I am currently having difficulty loading photos into guides.  I will add photos here just as soon as this problem is resolved.

ASSUME  THAT  ALL  NEW  DESIGNS  HAVE  BEEN  FAKED.

And be warned.... the fakes come in a "Seller's Pack" with box, ribbon, "store tag" and what could look like a genuine invoice........

There is only one reason that they are producing these fake packages..... to fool you out of your money!   Here is a direct quote from the replica manufacturers:

Proceed with extreme caution if someone is showing you a receipt which is in Hong Kong Dollars. 

(BUT please do note that there is at least one very reputable Ebay seller in Hong Kong.... trendyground2009 who regularly lists good condition and genuine vintage scarves.)

PS: I have just looked in the Chinese Warehouse .... they now have THE FULL 2010 CATALOGUE available as "superior quality replicas".  The only good news about this is that there is a fourfold increase in their prices, so possibly not quite so attractive to bulk resellers now. G.
