go GREEN

For years I have purchased usually small items (ex: tokens, Lions pins) that arrived safely in regular (short/long) sized paper envelopes.  Costs were more than the regular stamp but very reasonable.

Now my small items are placed in bubble wrap envelopes much larger than merchandise purchased with s/h costs to Buyer costing anywhere from 1.75 to 2.75 (which includes the mandatory USPS tracking).

For example:  Today I received a stick pin measuring 2.5" x 1.25" in bubble wrap with a 5.5x8.5 cardboard within a 9x7 bubble wrap envelope - total postal weight: 3 oz!  Postage cost to buyer: 2.75.  The concern is:  Items of this nature have previously always arrived safely (with bubble wrap -or- carboard) in a regular-sized envelope!  We should be going GREEN.  Save trees.  Downsize rubbish.

eBay:  Please accommodate your Sellers AND Buyers - - - do not impose unnecessary packing restrictions!  Small items = small packaging.  Tracking = ok.  Leave it up to Seller to determine size of envelope!

Thank You.
