When trying to find the right bowling ball you need to think of two things.
1. What Pattern USBC, SPORT SHOT, PRO SHOT
2. Weight of the ball. what you can handle
When you are looking at a typical house shot a medium to heavy oil ball is prefferd by most, it all depends on the way you through the ball. Twenner , Stroker, or power player. There are alot of people who choose a ball just because of the company that makes their favorite ball. Im guilty of that. in my oppinion i choose EBONITE. I have found that all of there equipment is reliable and works great no matter what.
The second thing you should take in to consideration is the weight of the bowling ball you are about to buy. Go to your local bowling alley and find a ball you can handle. try to hold it with your bowling hand down buy your side. if you have to lean or struggle to keep it up, you my friend have the wrong weight. If you find one that is comfortable than that is the weight you should order.
