Dolce & Gabbana- A Guide to Dolce & Gabbana & Fashion
Dolce and Gabbana is an Italian-based fashion house that has made a mark as couture designers for some of the world biggest names in entertainment. There are two major lines within the brand: Dolce & Gabbana, and D&G. The former is their high-end luxury line, while D&G is more metro-casual and alters more from season to season with the current fashion trends.
Each line includes not only clothing, but also underwear, swimwear, glasses, and fragrance. Within the D&G collection are also jewelry and watches. For children, there is D&G Junior, which is a very trendy line, always geared toward capitalizing on the hottest aspects of fashion at the moment. Though Dolce and Gabbana ended their romantic relationship in 2005, they continue to design together and their fashions have remained as popular as ever.
There is also a selection of trendy eyewear within the D&G line. Both sunglasses and frames for prescription lenses are available. Through their partnership with Luxotica, there are many styles of frames that bear the D&G logo, from simple metal frames, to wide sunglasses with a gemstone logo in the corner.
In 2005, Motorola released a limited edition RAZR phone, the V3i, in partnership with Dolce & Gabbana. Unlike other RAZR phones, this one is gold and features the Dolce & Gabbana logo. There were only 1223 phones produced (each phone is numbered on the back), and each features a unique ringtone and video that details Dolce & Gabbana's history.
