DO NOT BUY from OTARTEL.COM!!!!!SCAM!!!!

Even though I was sceptical of this company, there were a few Ebayers that said they had purchased with no problems, so I decided to try them out. I purchased the least amount possible - a $50 gift card from ShopRite for $43. Since they will only take checks (red flag there), I sent my payment through the mail the day after ordering (Nov. 4th). The check cleared my account on the 13th, and on the same day they sent me an email letting me know that they had just received my payment in the mail (lie) and that when it cleared my account (supposedly 7 business days from the 13th), they would send the gift card with a tracking number. I believe that they send this email after they have deposited your check, and make you think everything is OK, while you wait 7 business days and then have no way of stoping payment on the check. So now it is Dec. 5th, and my account on their website still says that they are waiting for my check to clear. I have emailed twice, and left two voice messages(no one picks up the phone), and have had no communication back from them at all. I filed a complaint with the BBB and found out that this is happening quite frequently. DO NOT BUY!!! They will steal your money!!! I think the Ebayers that said they use this company all the time, must be tied to this somehow - too many people are getting scammed!
