I hope this helps it is only for reference but it may clarify the different headers on listings and why they are stated as such.

Writting  listings  and some necessary information for same

WHEN  writing listings  be sure  to include  all  information  you have  on  the item  including  the size weight ,color previous owners paper work,  invoices or sales  receipts  and enough  clear  photos  for viewer to be able  to see Quality. or size if  you put  tape measure  or know item  nest  to  it  for  reference .

Always note  defects  and their locations.Any discolorations or oddities that  the  item  may  possess.

Return  all Questions  and always  put  in Ad  that  you welcome  any additional information others may  have about  item .As it may help  you   get  a higher  dollar  value,Or keep  a buyer  from  returning  it  because of incomplete or  wrong information..

Research  the item and previous sales amounts  before  you  list it . Note  that  at different  times of  the  year items  will sell  for more  or  less.

Attempt  to make  your starting price low enough  to  generate interest  If  you  set reserve make  the  reserve  usually  15% to 40 % less  than full   STORE retail. otherwise  you may never sell it .

Us marine Silver dollar  your  cost $35.00 from mint    start  at 9.99  If current  retail is  120    reserve  at 60.  If  last 5 sold  on Ebay  were  for  $75.00  then consider  reserve of $55.00

If   all  items  of similar type sold  for  $75 in last 3 months   on ebay  consider no  reserve .

If  you  paid  60.  consider selling as  store  inventory  at  retail   and give  buyer  opportunity   to make  reasonable offer  which  you can  decline.

AUCTION SALES  are just  that  the most money  any  2 or more  bidders  are willing  to pay  for  item  at  that  moment in  time .A price  which  may  be more  or  less  than  yo u Expect . BUT IT  IT the true value of  the item  on  that  day  in  that market place.

Retail store sales  in  a live market place  are different  than  Sales on THE internet.   the actual  selling price of  an  item is the  true worth  in any market  regardless of what  you have invested .

Always  remember  you  have had  a small  cost  to buy tape wrapping materials and transportation  to post office. YOU may under EBAY  rules put  that  charge in with  the cost  to ship  it must be  reasonable  and take into consideration it is not  there  as  a money maker only as  a legitimate cost of doing business. any where from $1.00  to 4.44 on  packages  upto  1 over size  and slightly  more  for larger packages .

THE  most fair  way  to ship is  to let shipping calculator  determine  the price  by location .

sometimes  flat rate boxes are  better if  there  is  a lot of weight.

Always  wrap ,add packing material  and  insure .

communicate  with  buyer
