Crayfish Breeding and as Pets

• Crayfish are great pets, most have wonderful color and they keep your tank clean. Furthermore, crayfish are always moving around or digging so they are very exciting to watch. The colors we carry are Orange, Red, White, and Blue.
• Crayfish will eat anything that falls on the bottom of an aquarium or pond. We feed our dead shrimp and shrimp pellets, they also enjoy veggies. Your crayfish may eat a dead fish too !
• Many people that sell crayfish use the word "lobster" either they don't know what they are talking about or they just want a fancier name for it. Lobsters are saltwater, crayfish are freshwater. A crawdad is another name for crayfish, mostly heard in the south.
• You can purchase a rare / exotic crayfish at our ebay store ExoticWetPets .
• Crayfish prefer at least a 10 gallon aquarium with lots of hiding places such as rocks and caves, the bigger the aquarium, the better. Make sure you have a filter with that aqarium and do a water change at least once a month.
