How well centered a seat is is often overlooked when purchasing a concert ticket - but can be a very important - even critical, consideration.
Depending on the type of venue, seating layout, and specific section, well vs poorly centered seats can be the difference between enjoying your experience, and feeling "ripped off".
I buy and sell tickets for a living, and I can tell you that I will frequently ~ give up ~ a few rows in order to purchase tickets in a center vs far right/left section.
But Wait - It Gets Even Worse !
Row D may sound great, but in many instances, if they are off center, in addition to giving you a side view - your actual distance to the stage/performers can be further than row J, and even beyond!In the sample I've shown below, the distance from center stage to dead center seats in row L is the same distance to center stage, poorly centered seats in row J.
