After 50 years of amassing this archive of the life and work of Antonio Borsato I am now offering it to the right party. It contains thousands of various items, hundreds of them one-of-a-kind, I know one day a movie or book will be made about him. I am now retired so all I can do is offer this archive to the right person or persons. Its been a wonderful experience and I hope future generations will enjoy learning about him. Borsato was very compassionate. He considered his most compassionate expression in his famous "Race To Oblivion". The last time I visited with him was in 1982, at the Chicago Merchandise Mart. It was his final American tour. It seemed like the whole city had turned out to meet him. We took lots of pictures of him. Collectors brought their figurines for him to sign. He could not speak English so he just smiled and patted his heart as a way of saying thanks. It was great.
