WON A COIN(S) ON EBAY AND IT NEVER ARRIVED ?
ALWAYS CHECK THE SELLER'S EBAY RATING (GIVEN AS A PERCENTAGE) 100% IS
PERFECT! Now if a seller only has 30 - 50 eBay transactions and gets one negative feedback from
a buyer they will probably have a rating of 95 %, but when a seller has 1000 or more eBay transactions
and gets one negative feedback they will get a rating of 99%. I use the term transactions because there
are some sellers who may have only sold a few items on eBay and the rest were purchases. Now there
are some sellers out there who have 20000 plus transactions. If they get one negative feedback they
will get a rating of 99.9%. So it's always good if you're planning to purchase a item to check the sellers
rating, especially if it's less than 99.8%. Look for feedback/reviews of the item you're bidding on plus
other items they are selling. Any negative or neutral comments such as Item Not Received; Item Not
as described; Wrong Item Shipped are reasons to LOOK for another seller of same item ! Seller's can
use terms like: NO RESERVE (which doesn't mean a durn thing) because the Start Bid (minimum
bid price) may be $39.00 I recently encountered a seller of 1 oz. silver American Eagle Coin; ONE
I NEVER RECEIVED, who because he didn't get a high enough winning bid price, pretended he
shipped it when he never did because he didn't get a big enough price for himself ! Well, what
happens then. I have to file a claim with the resolution center and wait for the seller to give a response
within seven days. He hasn't responded to me for 4 days now and I don't expect he will. But my money
is sitting in his Paypal account for three weeks while I'm without coin or money. It was my mistake,
he has a eBay rating of 97.1% and what do you know, his last purchaser never received the silver
Peace dollar he won from him either and had to go through the same process to get a refund. SO SAVE
YOURSELF SOME HEADACHES - READ THE SELLER'S FEEDBACK RATING AND BUYER'S
COMMENTS ! If you found this article informative, please check that you thought it was helpful.
Thanks !
