Here is my free recipe for Classic Spinach Dip
Served in an Oval Sourdough Bread Loaf
Ingredients
- 1 Package of Frozen Spinach
- 1 Pint of Sour Cream
- 1 Cup of Mayonaise
- 1 Small Yellow Onion
- 1 Packet of Dry, Vegetable Soup Mix
- 1 Large, Oval Sourdough Bread Loaf, Un-sliced
- Optional - raw vegetables
Preparation
Thaw the Spinach and drain the water
Set aside 1 tsp. of the raw spinach
Hollow out the bread loaf and tear into chunky, bite-size pieces
Mix all the ingredients, except the bread, in a bowl.
Spoon into Bread Hollow
Garnish with the 1 tsp. of spinach in the center
Serve with the Chunks of Bread
For color, you can also serve raw vegetables mixed between the bread chunks for dipping. Try a variety of colors like: yellow peppers, cherry tomatoes, celery sticks, carrots, snap peas, radishes or other seasonal, fresh vegetables cut in various shapes.
