What are clarity Enhanced Diamonds does it matter?
Yes and No....hmmmm.....Well, I am biased here but let me say this for a fact clarity enhanced diamonds are REAL 100% diamonds that come out of the earth. All real diamonds come out of the earth and only the earth. Ok now with that being said I will give you an over simplistic explanation of Clarity Enhanced Diamonds ( I sell both enhanced and non-enhanced DiamondFreddy).
When a diamond comes out of the earth it is a certain clarity depending on where it was mined, how it formed, etc., lets take for example the most perfect Internally Flawless (quite rare) well the Internally flawless diamond is considered to be so rare that it has absolutely no trace of feathers nothing...its unrealistic to find that on ebay or at a jeweler in the mall... in it whatsoever no matter what prism of light goes through it there is distortion But Gaggles of people try to find something that doesnt exist or try to learn about diamonds online...what they fail to realize is the more you try to learn, the more you try not to get taken ...the more you lead yourself to the slaugher.... So how can you save 50%-70%?
When a miner pulls the diamond from the ground (again I am over simplifying this) the diamond may also have some black spots from carbon (remember diamonds are made of carbon). However, nobody likes black spots in a diamond or carbon at minimum people want the minimal amount of visible carbon in a diamond that is possible. So that being said over the years processes to enhanced the diamond (make it better than originally) were developed.
The exact thing that Clarity Enhancement is:
REMEMBER Enhanced or NON enhanced BOTH ARE REAL DIAMONDS from planet earth, the ground, real. Even if the stone is enhanced by a process called Clarity Enhancement. The majority the stones I have observed on ebay are Clarity Enhanced (I would find it difficult to believe someone is selling non-enhanced on ebay). KEEP IN MIND THIS IS THE PROCESS I USE, many sellers do use other methods and they may or may not be as good.....many people have told me mine are good and my wife wears one it is undetectable. If you ever have gone to the doctor and had your a zit zapped with a lazer it is still your real skin, just as it is still a diamond. The most AMAZING THING is that people are HAPPY to use a laser to fix their own eyes, but dont trust it on a diamond?????
And you say you doon't buy hype or marketing? Read the above paragraph again....
So if you think buying from a woman in Helena Montana has access to direct pricing I would be amazed at her incredible access to diamonds in Montana? And she is on Ebay ...come on....its only realistic that a deal on a diamond is treated, there are no miracles. The amazing thing also is that I have local Jewelers call me all the time and as for these fantastic real diamonds because guess what ....YOU cant tell the difference and thats great for the jeweler....He can charge so much more - and alas just as on ebay you drop more money....does honesty in this business matter?
Now...does it matter if the diamond is enhanced or not? Personally as an expert I do not feel such a difference that it is worth 10-15k more for a non-enhanced diamond. However, it is up to the individual. IF you are on ebay looking for a 2 CT diamond non-enhanced I am happy to sell you one for several thousand more than a non-enhanced diamond. Enhanced diamonds are full lifetime treated diamonds, they look great for a fraction of the price, they do not fall apart, crumble or anything like that as so many misleading big diamond companies have brain washed the public to believe. Its basically like waking up in the morning with dandruff and shampooing your head and feeling clean all over. That does not mean your hair is not natural or that your hair is not yours its all the same and still real.
A true diamond broker can easily supply both enhanced or non-enhanced. It is up to the indiviudal to decide if they want to spend double and often triple for a non-enhanced dimaond but the most important thing is that they are both real diamonds and its your choice.
I hope this helped you a little and stopped a bit of the marketing hype the big diamond companies have tried to dispell you from buying a Clarity Enhanced diamond. My wife wears one and it is 2 CT slightly over and she loves it, never had a problem and as an expert I know it never will.
