The beautiful beaded handbags with the Christiana label on them appear to be from another era, but are present day made in India by a company called Christiana Enterprises, Inc of Chatsworth California. The founder and CEO of the company is Christiana Lapetina-Johnson a 40 yr old woman who founded the company in her garage in 1994 and does a $6 million dollar yearly business. The handbags are being listed on ebay as "vintage", "rare", "antique" which is not true. They just appear to be of an older style. The handbags retail for a hefty price tag when purchased in a retail store and are handmade in India. Don't believe the ads for vintage and antique, etc. All have been made since 1994.
