How to care for your Silver and Gemstone Jewelry

There really isn't much you can do about Silver Tarnishing. Its just the nature of Silver.

Silver is a metal that reacts to Chemicals, whether it be chemicals in the air or chemicals touching it, Silver Reacts!

To minimize tarnishing, store sterling silver in a moisture-free environment. Use plastic bags with zipper locks, anti-tarnish strips (available at jewelry stores) or moisture-absorbent products (available in some pharmacies).

You will also find moisture-absorbent packets in some merchandise such as shoes, medication and accessories that are sensitive to moisture. Reuse these packets by putting some in your jewelry box to minimize tarnish on your sterling silver pieces.

We recommed Cleaning your Gemstone and Silver Jewelry with a dab of soap and water if needed and drying it completley.

After it is dry, use a high quality Silver Polishing Cloth to polish the Silver to A Shine!
