i got a email from a big japanese retail store that says they deal and sell mini lps/shm-cds that are made outside of japan. So there is nothing japanese about these. Also there is a seller on ebay that says to stay away from chinese fakes and he doesn't deal with chinese fakes. Well i investigated this claim and found that this seller buys loads of cheap mini lps/shm-cds from china and sells them at huge profits. Example this seller purchased a ELTON JOHN & LEON RUSELL "THE UNION" SHM-CD (japanese catalog UICR-1087) from a chinese seller on september 8,2012 for us$10.49 and relisted it for sale on his site for over us$55.00.The thing is "THE UNION" was never released as a shm-cd and catalog #UICR-1087 is the japanese catalog number for "THE UNION" and it is NOT A SHM-CD. So from my experiences you can buy fakes from con dishonest sellers and not even know it.
