buying reproduction stocks

make sure that you are buying from a seller with a good repor. stocks bought over the ebay can be deceiving especially if mineral sprirts or some other {to show the grain of the wood better} is applied. this can also hide defects. also final fit and finish can also be left to the imagination of the seller. cheaper  buys are not always better. thank you for your time. mike
