Buying cheaply

Hi, a simple technique I use when buying in auctions, is to decide the MAXIMUM that I want to pay and then enter that bid, the next bit is to go do something else until the auction has ended. Never ever! get into a bidding war, you will just spend more than you need, if you do not win the auction, it does not matter, because another auction with the item you want will come along any second, always works for me.
