I want to try to explain the differences between BUY IT NOW, STORE INVENTORY and AUCTION. I've only been using Ebay (buying and selling) for a year now but I have noticed some things that might be confusing to newbies. When a person looks in the search menu and finds what they are looking for, they go to that page and read the description for the item. But sometimes they don't realize it is maybe STORE INVENTORY and not a weekly BUY IT NOW. If it is a BUY IT NOW weekly deal there will a time remaining on the item description, but if it is STORE INVENTORY there is no time remaining listing and thus it will stay listed indefinitely until someone buys the item. I have several watchers for alot of my items but most of them are for STORE INVENTORY which is listed until I cancel the item. I do have watchers for AUCTION also but the majority is for STORE INVENTORY. The price won't change on these items and nobody can outbid you. So when you are reading the description watch for the time remaining and if there isn't a time remaining you can safely buy the item you are interested in without worrying that somebody else will outbid you. And it will belong to you and no one else. I hope this is helpful when making your decision to buy or not.
