It’s a great idea to celebrate your progress by doing a fun Photo Shoot!
Perhaps you want to keep the photos to show your grandkids how you looked when you were at your best. Or you could give them as presents to your family or partner. Why not get them printed out to hang up in your home for you visitors to admire. And don’t forget that all important Facebook profile picture!
Knowing what you want to do with the images is important to know what sort of poses you’d like to do and what you’d like to wear. Will your grandma want a photo of you topless or should that be reserved for the photo collage you give your partner? Swimwear is a more subtle way of showing off as much as you can without being in your underwear. For men a compression shirt is a great way of showing off your muscle definition which still clothed. If you can use a location that has mirrors then this is a great advantage. It will mean you can see how you look in the mirror to ensure the photos show off your best angles and all the muscles you’ve worked so hard on look their best. Perhaps ask your gym if you can use their group fitness room to take your photos. Otherwise it’s a good idea to take a gym buddy with you as a spotter so they can help guide you into each pose so that your muscles look their best.
To get your muscles looking their best for the big day it’s a good idea to get cut. This can take a week so do your researched and get everything you need in advance, like supplements, groceries etc. Remember to arrive at your shoot early so you have time to pump up your muscles and get the blood flowing, even some push-ups and squats will help.
Why not take some weights with you into the studio? You can use them in the photos to help enhance your muscle tone, give you confidence and add a workout theme. Last but not least don’t forget your magic weapon – spray oil! Spray it all over your body to give it a glistening shine that will help you look really defined in the photos.
Now all that’s left is to relax and enjoy your photo shoot!
