Bic's Dr. Grip Pen- The Pen That Would Be Doctor

Dr. Grip is the greatest pen ever invented, in the whole world. Sure it costs around $6, but doctor's visits are expensive. This pen will change the way you look at other pens forever. Dr. Grip is a refillable pen- there are ballpoint and 'rollerball' refills available in blue and black ink. I personally use the Very Fine Black Rollerball refills, but my pen is this funky icy purple color.
There are styles to fit most tastes- from plain classic black to silver. And it's difficult to have your pen stolen- people will want to , but you'll see your pen in their hand.
These pens are the most comfortable pens to write with. I never get that 'writers cramp' when I use it, even if I write for hours. I discovered this pen when I was a secretary and in college, it stayed with me seven years later. Dr. Grip has been approved by the Arthritis foundations for ease of use.
Since it's refillable, you waste less plastic- which is made from oil and never biodegrades.
Now, the downfalls- expense, of course, the rollerball sometimes 'skips', clogs, or smears and is not waterproof or permanent (sigh, maybe someday...). And this pen is clownishly large. I can only find Dr. Grip at a few stores- Duane Reade(Sometimes), and CVS Pharmacy, and the office Megastores(which are the only place to find the refills).
All in all, a good pen. A great pen if you have carpel tunnel or similar in your hand.
