Berkeley pocket trumpet

I bought the Bb/C pocket trumpet, and it is a nice horn that is built well.  As in it is sturdy, and doesn't sound like a toy.  However, its basically in B.  Its just about a half step sharp.  And the tuning slide is near the chin so when you pull it out to get it in tune (which is all the way out BTW) you can't put your lips on the mouthpiece.  It's a real bummer, but I only paid $100.  Do NOT pay more, it's far too sharp and the oddity of the tuning slide is a real issue here.
