Bargainland-- No problems if you understand the risk

I have had two positive experiences with Bargainland, one for a set of towels that were relatively inexpensive and another transaction involving a Dyson vacuum which was a larger purchase. I read the negative feedback prior to bidding and understood the risk I was taking; 9 out of 10 people dealing with Bargainland are not happy. Here's the thing-- I took a financial risk knowingly in an effort to get a better-than-average online deal. It worked out for me, I believe because I understood my chances. I knew when bidding that the auction may not be exactly as pictured. I knew the condition was not tested, the items were not inspected and my resolution options for any problems that might arise from the auction were slim to none. Given that acceptance of "what is," I was able to wage a gamble and bid. For me, Bargainland is 2 for 2. They emailed me each time with shipping information, I had a question after an auction and received a response within 24 hours, and the shipping fees were exactly what they should have been. My towels are soft and plush, my Dyson is the BEST vacuum I've ever owned and I'll be shopping at Bargainland again.

I consider shopping with Bargainland a calculated risk. I don't bid more than I can afford to outright lose and I expect to have some issues with the item(s), although luckily I have not thusfar. It's like gambling, if you understand what you're getting yourself into you may find the deal of a lifetime you've been waiting for... or, you might get screwed and walk away minus anything valuable.

The only way to shop at Bargainland is to un-bunch your high-expectation-panties and know it is a gamble that may result in a great deal. If you don't like the shipping fees, DON'T BID. If you can't handle losing your great deal to a defective product, DON'T BID. If you are expecting more than Bargainland itself promises, DON'T BID. Bargainland is very clear about their policy: Bargains first, customer service second. Everything is "as is" and that "as is" may not be exactly what you had expected. For me, Bargainland has been a good experience and I will continue to shop there under assumed risk.
