While most banners are temporary, some extra care give it a longer life span!
The durability of the banner depends on many factors: internal and external.
Internal factors include the banner material and material weight.
Esternal factors include how the banner is hung, the environment it is hung in (indoors/outdoors, weather conditions etc) and where it is hung (against a building or in the open)
Obviously, the lighter the banner material and/or the harsher the environmetal conditions, the shorter their life-span
Banners should be at LEAST 13oz for outdoor use. 10oz banners may be used outdoors for short-term use only.
CLEANING VINYL BANNERS
Use only mild dishwashing liquid and rinse with clean water. Do NOT use harsh abrasive or petroleum based cleaners. When cleaning, place banner on a clean flat surface and gently wash and dry both sides. Make sure both sides are dry before storing
STORAGE
Banners should be stored rolled up with the vinyl graphics on the OUTSIDE. This ensures that the vinyl does not get as stressed and pull away from the banner. Place banner in its box and store the box on its side as standing it on its end may cause the banner to settle in a wrinkled manner. Store in a cool dry area as the vinyl may warp, melt, distort or come loose in high heat
