Applying Makeup in the Morning for Women in mid 30s

Like with most things, Makeup takes practice.  I know that for virtually all women in their mid 30s, we do not have time to practice.  Well, that is why we are excellent multi-taskers.  We usually put make up on in the morning before we leave the house to start our certifiably insane day right?  Do it then.  Trust me.  I was doing eye shadow contouring to help my "mid-30s heavy" eyelids in the morning.  I thought it looked awful and was glad that I didn't go over board. (I'm a less is more kind of girl).  To my surprise, I got TONS of compliments on my eye shadow.  These were sincere compliments too, not compli-sults where somebody is like "Oh wow, nice eye shadow, I couldn't wear it, but it fits you".  Yeah, we've all heard things like that, and that my friends is a compli-sult.  Anyway, now, I can throw on my face in about 10 minutes with full makeup.  I'm talking ALL: highlight, contour, fine liquid eyeliner, kohl eyeliner for cat eyes, bronzer, blush, conceal dark circles, etc.  But, I'm probably the only girl that will admit that it took me like four years to accomplish.  And, it may not take you that long to do.  I have never been good at makeup.  I have taken extensive professional make up classes and training.  I'm usually the worst student.  But, some girls just "get it".  They can see pictures of models and put it on your face.  Anyway, I am a rambler.  Just practice and don't worry about your make up looking awful.  We are usually our own worst critic.  And, for those compli-sulters that may or may NOT say anything to you, just roll your eyes, say whatever, and say that you are busy.  Love, Megan
