I have notice a few 2005 Airstreams for a 'buy it now' price of $5,800. For those that know about new airstreams this a very low price. However, the listing seller is hacking into others accounts and repeats in the description "don't email me at my ebay account because it goes into my junk email" and offers an alternative email on yahoo, msn or verison. The picutres of the airstream are usually on a sales lot somewhere that this person just entered with a camera and viola! In addition another BIG clue is that it is available for sale in North or South America and includes "free shipping". This spells trouble too because as soon as the money is paid outside of the country it does not have the protection of Ebay. I recently saw one action (and it always seems to be a 2005) for an airstream in Florida, but the bidding was in EURO instead of the dollar. I hope this helps a few avoid this scam! Beware!
