World of Warcraft Collectible Card Game
Blizzard and Upper Deck have joined up to create
a collectible card trading game based upon the
popular online MMORPG World of Warcraft!
Alone with the card game you will get the opportunity
to receive UDE cards (see below) and online redeemable
loot cards to be used with World of Warcraft online!
Format
This is a standard collectible trading card game
that is sold in either the booster card packs
or in the starter deck. You will play as either
the Horde or the Alliance side. You can play one
on one or in a raid format!
Booster Packs
The booster packs are sold either individually or
in a box format. They come with 24 packs per box
and 15 cards + 1 UDE point card per pack.
Starter Decks
The starter decks come with 63 game cards and
3 Oversized Hero cards per deck. They also come
with 2 UDE point cards.
UDE Points
There are point cards called UDE points. Each 1
card is worth 100 points and you turn them in online
VIA a special web page. They UDE points can be used
for different items that will be available online.
For example A unique online game blue tabard for
use on the MMORPG World of Warcraft. Or a trinket
that creates a unique fireworks display on the game!
Another possibility is to create yourself to look like
an Ogre!
You can also use points to unlock online message board
avatars, original artwork, and towards any other
Upper Deck merchandise.
Loot Cards
The unique thing about the loot cards is that they have
scratch off codes that allow you to access online items
that you can then use in World of Warcraft.
The first loot card is a unique online tabard to be used
and worn on your character online.
The second loot card is the Thunderhead Hippogryph which
is a unique in-game hippogryph pet. This pet works with
you and fights with you online.
The next loot card is the Saltwater Snapjaw a unique
turtle mount (normal running speed). From what I have
heard this mount will not have a level restriction like
other online mounts that you have to be level 30 to ride.

The current level of people playing the online game makes
this a great game to collect.
